This drive brings high-speed external storage into a card-like form with premium minimalist aesthetics and intuitive magnetic connectivity, empowering creators across mobile capture and on-the-go workflows. The Muse Ultra-Slim Portable SSD features a precision-machined unibody metal enclosure, measuring approximately 3.8 mm at its thickest point, and a SnapLink Magnetic Cable for secure attachment to compatible MagSafe iPhone models. It delivers read speeds of up to 1,050 MB/s and write speeds of up to 1,000 MB/s, supporting direct external recording of Apple ProRes 4K video at up to 120 fps on compatible iPhone models. The drive will be available in 512GB and 1TB capacities from Q4 2026.
Lexar also showcased AI Storage Core technologies at IFA 2026, including next-generation AI-grade Gen5 SSD and AI-grade Gen5 Storage Stick. These innovations support compact AI devices with up to 11 GB/s bandwidth, improving local AI performance and reducing DRAM capacity requirements by approximately 40%. The showcase also included Lexar's client SSD portfolio for commercial PCs and a dedicated Dashcam USB Flash Drive Series for electric vehicles, addressing storage needs for continuous loop recording and multi-channel video capture.
Lexar is expanding its storage solutions beyond consumer markets, targeting OEMs, commercial PCs, and specialized applications. The company's innovations aim to empower creators, professionals, and everyday users with reliable, high-performance memory solutions across various industries.
